Stretch syncope, een ‘mimic’ van focale epilepsie

چکیده
Er is een brede differentiaaldiagnose voor wegrakingen, zoals vasovagale syncope, cardiale epilepsie en psychogene wegrakingen. Deze bijdrage gaat over patiënt die werd verwezen met de vraagstelling epilepsie, bij wie er verrassend genoeg sprake bleek van zeldzame epilepsie-mimic: “stretch syncope”. We nemen u mee naar casus deze theorieën onderliggende pathofysiologische mechanismen.
